A Big Day in Changzhou
SVOLT held its 2026 Global Partner Summit on July 16 in Changzhou under the theme Chain Collaboration, Co Creation and Win Win. The company rolled out a bunch of new products covering both EVs and energy storage. The highlights include the Blade 3.0 battery, a hybrid solid state 6C superfast charge cell, and a new LFP HEV battery pack. SVOLT also confirmed its fourth generation Fly Laminate 4.0 stacking tech will start mass production before the end of 2026. That system handles 16 layers at once and basically doubles stacking throughput.
Two New Cells for Different Markets
Blade 3.0 for Fast Charging
The Blade 3.0 uses a 130+ Ah cell with 181 Wh per kg energy density. It gives you over 650 km of driving range on a single charge. The real headline is the charging speed. It supports a peak 10C charge rate with an average of 8C. That means 10 to 80 percent SOC in just 5.25 minutes and 10 to 97 percent in 8.5 minutes. Basically no more range anxiety or long waits at charging stations. SVOLT says this makes thousand yuan level fast charging possible for volume models.
Hybrid Solid State 6C for Premium EVs
On the ternary side SVOLT introduced its first hybrid solid state 6C superfast charge cell built for mass production. The 150+ Ah cell supports a 120+ kWh pack and pushes range past 750 km. Energy density sits at 233 Wh per kg. With an 8C peak charge rate it goes from 10 to 80 percent SOC in 7 minutes. The hybrid solid liquid design cuts thermal runaway risk by 25 percent and reduces cell to cell pressure variation by 18.5 percent. Mass production starts in Q3 2027.
New HEV Battery Pack
SVOLT also showed a 5.1 kWh LFP HEV battery pack for the hybrid market. It uses 16.4 Ah cells with 130+ Wh per kg energy density. The pack delivers a 50C pulse discharge rate and lasts over 40,000 cycles. It works across a wide temperature range from minus 40 to 60 degrees Celsius. That makes it a solid option for next gen hybrids operating in tough climates.
Energy Storage Lineup Gets a Refresh
SVOLT updated its entire energy storage product line across four segments. All of them benefit from Fly Laminate 4.0 stacking and hybrid solid state safety architecture.
Residential storage uses 122 and 120 Ah stacked cells with better cycle life and thermal stability.
C&I storage comes as a 285 kWh Cell to Rack integrated system for easier deployment.
Utility scale storage is a 6.29 MWh CTR battery container built for grid level energy shifting.
AIDC and UPS applications get 90 and 102 Ah hybrid solid state cells designed for critical backup power.
SVOLT also showed its sodium ion technology as a backup pathway for large scale storage. The idea is to target grid frequency regulation and renewable curtailment reduction with lower cost longer duration solutions.
Fly Laminate 4.0 Is the Manufacturing Edge
The thing that makes all these products possible is Fly Laminate 4.0. It is the industry's first stacking process that handles 16 electrode layers in a single pass. That doubles the efficiency of conventional stacking and cuts capital spending per gigawatt hour while improving alignment and defect control. Volume delivery starts later this year. SVOLT is clearly trying to position itself as both a battery innovator and a manufacturing powerhouse that can take lab breakthroughs to high volume production.
What It All Adds Up To
The summit sent a clear message. SVOLT is moving fast on charging speed, safety, and manufacturing scale. As the industry shifts from treating batteries as components to treating them as platforms, SVOLT is betting on vertical integration and process innovation. The company is now backing that bet with actual product roadmaps and delivery dates.
